Dr. Geries Khoury met a group of Italians from the Tuscana region headed by Father Mario in Upper Galilee, on Friday 18 of May 2012. Together they visited Kufur Bur’um and Iqrit, two Christian towns that were uprooted by Israelis in 1948. Dr. Geries, likewise, focused on local theology and the importance of interfaith dialogue in achieving just peace, shared living and mutual respect between followers of heavenly religions who call for respect and love of the other. The gathering was followed with a question and an answer session.
