Political Situation in Light of the Formation of the New Israeli Cabinet

Tens of persons, men and women, from all sectors of society in the Bethlehem Governorate attended Prof. Haidar’s lecture on Israeli political situation in light of the formation of the new Israeli Cabinet. The lecture surveyed the political developments in Israel under national unity goverments and did not expect any positive results. He focused on the reasons that led Sha’ul Mofaz, leader of Kadima, to join a national unity government under the leadership of Natanyahu. Prof. Haidar focused as well on regional developments and the Israeli Iranian nuclear crisis and on the impact of Arab Spring on the Middle East, on the peace process and on the Palestinian Problem.
