This lecture by Prof. Haidar was attended by tens of community leaders, academicians, men, women, lay people, and clerics who were deeply interested in the outcome of the elections and its impact on Israeli society and on Palestinian Israeli relations.

Israeli public, according to Prof. Haidar, has lost confidence in its politicians. This is seen in the results. Whereas in past days the largest party could get from 40-46 seats, these days the largest parties Kadima and The Likud could not get more than 28 to 27 seats respectively.

The newly formed cabinet, when it is formed, will be comprising extreme right members. An in depth question and answer session followed.
