Tolerance and Peace Values from the Point of View of Christianity

At the invitation of the Holy Bible Society in their annual meeting in Jericho, Dr. Geries S. Khoury delivered a lecture titled “Tolerance and Peace Values from the Point of View of Christianity.” A question and an answer session followed in which Dr. Khoury answered in details clarifying in the process Christianity stand from violence, war and hate. D. Khoury, likewise, focused in his lecture on the values of Christianity and the importance of reading the Bible in a contextual way in light of what Christ had taught. Dr. Khoury stressed the importance of real faith which is considered the firm base for mutual respect and dignity and the work for justice and peace.
