At the invitation of the Caritas Hospital Sisters in Bethlehem, Dr. Geries S. Khoury, Director of Al-Liqa’, presented the Palestinian Christian Document: “A Moment of Truth” which was launched by Christian clerics and lay people in Christmas of 2009.
Dr. Khoury presentation was followed with questions and answers relating to the Document.

A group of Italian Pilgrims led by Dr. Paulo Farina asked Dr. Geries S. Khoury to reflect on the Gethsemane in Jerusalem and they insisted that this is to be done on location. The encounter was beautiful. Following reflections and reading of relating texts, Dr. Khoury answered questions of pilgrims which focused as well on Christian – Muslim relations.

Dr. Geries S. Khoury lectured to a group of Italian pilgrims led by Fr. Picerello on Christian Palestinians and Israeli occupation and its policies. Dr. Khoury asked pilgrims to know the history and reality of occupation and to tell their fellow country men the truth of what they had heard and what they had seen.
