“The Church of the Holy Land: Past, Present and Future.”

Fifteen monks and nuns from the monastery of “Family of Good Tidings” from ‘Aein ‘Areek and Jordan attended the study day titled: “The Church of the Holy Land: Past, Present and Future.” Dr. Geries S. Khoury surveyed the history of the church and its many rituals as well as the challenges that face the church and shared living with the Muslims and the daily problems of the church in Israel. Dr. Khoury discussed, in addition, the Catholic Synod that the Holy Father, the Pope, called for and the expectations and results from this historical catholic synod. In depth discussions followed Dr. Khoury’s presentation.
