On Saturday, 9 May 2009, at 5:00 p.m., Al-Liqa’s Board of Trustees members Dr. Geries S. Khoury and Dr. ‘Abd Al-Rahman ‘Abbad took part in a panel titled:
“The Acceptance of the Other and the Shared living”
Also taking part in the panel was Sheikh Muhammad Rammal. The panel was moderated by Al-Liqa’s friend, Dr. Butros Dalleh. Those attending this panel were welcomed by Mr. Elias Makhool. Large number of local people as well as students and teachers, both Christians and Muslims, attended this event.
