Khoury"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the invitation of the Haifa Orthodox Council, a distinguished evening was held in the Greek Orthodox Church Hall in Haifa on the 7th of April 2015 to launch Al-Liqa\u2019 Center\u2019s new publication: \u201cBook of Evidence on Confirming Faith\u201d, Sophronius Patriarch of Jerusalem, His life, works and Omar\u2019s Covenant. Study and Critical Edition by Dr. Geries S. Khoury<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Fu\u2019ad Naqqara welcomed the large gathering and introduced Al-Liqa\u2019s new publication by Dr. Geries S. Khoury. A friend of Al-Liqa\u2019 Mr. Fathi Fourani focused on \u2018Omar\u2019s Covenant and shared living as well as national unity and criticized extremists like Da\u2019ish and others who commit barbaric acts in Arab land.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. \u2018Atallah Qupti focused on the content of the book, he spoke on the Omar\u2019s Covenant, and asked the author for clarifications.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Geries S. Khoury thanked attorney Fu\u2019ad Naqqara and all those who are attending this gathering including speakers Mr. Fathi Fourani and Dr. Atallah Qupti.
