Khoury met on 19 April 2013 with Christian and Muslim Palestinian students who had taken part in a workshop in Italy on \u201cShared Living, Justice and peace\u201d which was sponsored by \u201cThe Voice of Peace\u201d organization of the District of Val D\u2019Aosta. Dr. Khoury listened to each participant\u2019s experience in which they expressed their satisfaction and pleasure at the way a group of young Italian youth were made aware of problems by Palestinian youth at the \u201cVoice of Peace\u201d organization. Palestinians put forth to the Italians the history of the Palestinian problem and they reiterated to their Italian friend that the basic demand of Palestinians is to attain justice and peace including the establishment of a Palestinian State with its capital Arab East Jerusalem. Teacher Sima Ghawali of Beit Jala who accompanied the Palestinian group expressed her satisfaction with this unique experience.
