In the second day of the conference on Theology and Local church which focused on Christian Arab Heritage in Palestine and following the evening dinner, a literary event took place in which several leading literary figures participated in the event with their own production. Those include ‘Atef Bahhuth and Fathi Fourani who read an appeal to the citizens of Nazareth on behalf of Al-Liqa’s conferees, both Muslims and Christians, asking the people there to maintain unity, to protect their historical identity and shared living as it was throughout the history. Mrs. Nuha Qa’war read some of her poems and Nagham Jamal Qa’war read a poem about Christmas which was wrote by her late dad Dr. Jamal Qaw’ar who was a true friend of Al-Liqa’.
