Al-Liqa’s Board of Trustees Approves the program of the Conference on Arab Heritage for Christians and Muslims Dialogue Conference

Following several meetings for the Board of Trustees in which the program of the 25th session of the Conference (September 2013) on Arab Heritage for Christians and Muslims (Better know as the Christian – Muslim Dialogue Conference) was discussed in details. The Board approved the program in its meeting of 6 June 2013.

The program will be as follows:

1.      Title of Conference: The Palestinian National Scheme and the Modern State

2.      Date of Conference: 19-21 September 2013

3.      Title of Lectures and Panels:

a)     A panel titled: points of view concerning the concept of state from a religious and civil frame.

b)     Multi points of view from the future state:

-         An Islamic view

-         A Christian view

-         A Secular view

c)     Political behavior in concepts and practices of heavenly religions

d)     The danger of the Jewishness of the state and the stand of world legitimacy from it

e)     One state or two States: point of view

f)      The West and Political Islamic movements in the Arab countries

g)     Panel: Muslims and Christians: Living together in dignity

h)     A cultural and Literary Evening
